STEAM combines experiential and hands-on education with positive youth development, helping youth of all ages develop life skills.
The position for our STEAM program coordinator has recently changed to encompass the development and delivery of curriculum for the STEAM programs in the libraries around the county. Unfortunately, Cache Makers is no longer a facility run by our Cache County 4-H program. If you were previously involved in Cache Makers, please consider starting your own 4-H STEAM club! Contact Elise Jenson with any questions. If you want to be involved in a Makerspace, visit your nearest library and check out what they have to offer.
Want to Get Involved?
Cache County 4-H STEM hosts a multitude of volunteer-led youth groups focused on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. Starting or volunteering at a 4-H STEAM club is a great way to start learning interesting things, continue learning about something you are already interested in, or meet like-minded individuals.

STEAM Kits are available!
We have STEAM kits available that will be featured monthly. Each kit comes with a 4-5 week STEAM activity & curriculum. Great for the entire family as well as homeschooling classes!
Available for pickup starting April 1st! This month's kit is designed for the whole family! Purchase your kit for $5.00 at the Cache County 4-H office (179 N Main Street #111 Logan, UT).
STEM in Motion Kits Check Out
Registration is now open to all schools for STEM in Motion Kits for K-12 classrooms. The STEM in Motion curriculum kits are supplied with state-of-the-art equipment, lesson videos, virtual activities with our SIM team, career connection resources, and more.
iSEE (Informal Science Education Enhancement)
To all teachers of 5th grade students in the Cache County, Logan, and local Charter schools.
If you are interested in having our USU Extension STEAM program coordinator come into your classrooms and teach a FREE hands-on-activity this year to your 5th grade students, on what happens when spheres collide in agriculture please contact Jenny Kearl to set up an appointment.
It only takes one hour, to dive into our iSEE program with your students, and it is totally free!
The iSEE program for the state of Utah covers SEED Standard 5.1.4: “Develop a model to describe interactions between earth’s systems including the geosphere, biosphere, hydrosphere, and/or atmosphere. Emphasis the interactions between only two systems at a time. Examples could include the influence of a rainstorm in a desert, waves on a shoreline, or mountain on clouds.”
